Have you ever felt blogging is so frustrating? If you have not then I can assure you that there are many folks out there who are feeling that way right now and there are many more who will soon give up because of the feeling that blogging is so frustrating.#
Some have given up on blogging without a plan to return to it while there are many others who are about to drop their pen just because they are feeling so frustrated by the blogging life.
The fact is that blogging can be so frustrating under some certain conditions while under some other conditions it can be real fun.
So I really don’t blame them most of the time because they most times give up out of ignorance. They don’t why it’s so frustrating therefore they don’t even know how to turn it into a fun game…
With this post I hope to share with you why blogging is could be so frustrating and how you can make it fun.
Blogging can be so frustrating when:
1. You don’t like writing
The fact is that as a blogger who is aspiring to be a pro-blogger you must develop a habit of writing. When you don’t like writing you will lack articles to regularly update your blog which will lead to frustration. You might end up copying and pasting which will cause Google and other search engines to frown their faces at you and penalize you. If you are not a writer, you either learn how to write or be ready to pay to outsource the writing aspect of your blogging career.
I fell in love with writing again when I first read a post from Romy Singh of Geekywriter
2. You lack time management
Blogging requires time and if you don’t give it the time it requires you might end up frustrated when you don’t see any growth in your blog for a very long time. Time is needed to come up with articles, build quality backlinks, write quality comment on other blogs, network with other bloggers, optimize your blog for search engines and some other activities that will make your blog win in the very competitive community of blogging. Set a time out to manage your blog and I can assure you that you will start enjoying blogging when you have the time to give to it.
3. You lack self confidence
Hey! Self confidence is not just for motivational speakers alone. As a writer and blogger if you lack self confidence you will not be able to express yourself through your writings and that will definitely lead you to frustration.
Self confidence is what makes me write the way I write. I don’t try to copy the writing style of someone else like I was doing when I started blogging. I developed my self confidence to the point where I can now write and express my thoughts with my writings just the way I love to do it.
4. You are lazy
OMG! This is one of the most common things that lead many people to the place called frustration. If you try and look around you, you will find a lot of lazy people who want to play the blogging game.
Blogging is not for lazy folks. If you are lazy person you had better start changing or get ready to become a frustrated blogger. Lazy people can’t research to produce quality content, they can’t sit down to even learn the basics of SEO, they will never have the time to network with other bloggers, and they will always be comfortable with the average…
Don’t forget that blogging is a business…
Sit up and get set for some hard work mixed with some hard fun
Oh! I remember one day how I stared at my blog as though it could see and hear me and with a deep breath I muttered “Can’t I just quit blogging?” Most times we as bloggers never know what other bloggers are going through and that makes us very selfish.
We should understand that at one point or the other a blogger needs a little motivation and just a nice comment from you can stop someone from quitting. Try as much as possible to comment on every post you enjoyed reading. It might just be the motivation for the next post.
Have you ever been frustrated before as a blogger? Do you have something to say to that blogger that is about giving up? Just leave a comment below and I can assure that your comment will go a long way to healing a bloggers heart.
